These terms cover this website and the Rootwork platform at app.rootworkhq.com, both run by Rootwork Engineering Fellowship (“Rootwork”). By applying or signing in, you agree to them. Questions: hello.rootworkhq@gmail.com.

Applying

Tell us the truth about yourself in your application. Applying does not guarantee a place; we decide who joins each cohort.

Who can use the platform

The platform is invite-only. It is for people Rootwork has added to a cohort: fellows, mentors, staff and guest reviewers. Your access follows your role and ends if you leave or are removed from the fellowship.

Your account

Sign in only as yourself and keep access to your email and Google account secure. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

Acceptable use

• Submit your own work, and follow each assignment's AI policy.
• Treat other members' information as private, and do not share it outside Rootwork.
• Do not try to access records you are not meant to see, disrupt our services or test their security without permission.

Your work

You keep ownership of the code and writing you submit. You allow Rootwork to view, review, record and keep it as evidence of your learning for the fellowship, including in reports about your progress.

Our services

We work to keep our services available and accurate, but they are provided as they are, and we may change or improve them. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Changes

We will update the date above when these terms change, and tell members about significant changes.
